During the month of January, The Agape Class will once again sponsor our annual church wide collection of layette items for the Alpha/Omega center in Kerrville, TX.  These items are used to make up lovely baby bathtubs full of items needed by new parents when their babies are born.  The recipients of these layettes are graduates of the parenting classes conducted by the center.  The center's Christ based program equips these families with the tools necessary to raise their children in Godly homes.  A collection box will be placed under the former library's window to receive your donations all during the month of January.

  Our class has decided to expand this project this year to include donations of new or gently used items to go into "Sarah Elizabeth's Closet".  Clients have the opportunity to earn coupons by taking parenting classes, life skill classes, attending a Christian church service, memorizing scriptures, participating in bible studies (men and women) and helping around the center.  Items are given a coupon value and clients can redeem those items with the coupons they have earned.  Contact Mary Foerster - 992-2141 to arrange for a pick up of the larger items.
