First Students Fredericksburg is a youth group for grades 6th-12th where we are focused on discipling students to become living representations of Jesus so that we mirror the love, mercy, and grace that God has extended to us all. We meet on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the gym and Sundays at 9:15am in The Loft which is our upstairs room in the gym. We love the Word of God, we love to have fun, and we would love for you to come check us out!
Our Mission: First Students Fredericksburg exists to build up students in their pursuit of Jesus Christ by putting death to death and living true life in Christ.
Scripture References: Rom. 3:23 “for all have sinned,” Rom. 6:23 “for the wages of sin is death,” Gal. 5:24 “crucified the flesh,” Philip. 1:21 “to live is for Christ,” John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Our Purpose: Youth Ministry is for the building up of students by the basis of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as the building up of students in the Word of God so that their faith in Jesus truly belongs to them.
Our Vision: To see students of all ages giving their lives to Christ, discipling others, and leading the next generation of the church.
Our Goals:
1. Students are constantly learning disciples that also disciple others.
2. Students serve the church and those in the community, so that they learn what it means to lead.
3. Students own their faith and thus, are unashamed of the Gospel and how it has transformed them to the point that their lives become an exhibit for the Gospel
